Path

I tread opposite to the flock that laughs at me

My path is different is all I say

I needn’t be you to be true to me

The bent horizons are calling me..I pray

They laugh and go

For movement is life we all know

I stop for a while and look athwart

Is it a one way lane and I on the wrong cart?

No reconciliations on my mind,

just a pause before I finally part

With soothes and caution

the flock calls me in

I smile and assess..

Me juvenile with them ripened

My trepidations with their beliefs

Me failing with them succeeded

and

My bliss with their griefs..

I give in and walk with them

Don’t smile at me like that you reader

If not for me..won’t they’ve been lost

Oh! I am not betraying me, nor I’m any leader

I’ll come back my destined path

We’ll traverse together

There’ll be mutual dreams we’d chart

Maybe this or next weather

But I’d come certainly

For I know you’d wait for me
